We already submitted our SPR but I'm now very interested to see what, if anything, pings a similar correction.

Good morning, friends--

I have debated about sending this email, esp. since SPRs are due tomorrow. But I did want to give y'all a heads up.

We submitted our SPR early and received a particular comment from IMLS that I wanted you to be aware of.

In our Youth Services category in the SPR, one of our activities was a program entitled, Talking About Race at Storytime. We were asked to remove that title and use different words to describe the program-- the Executive Order 14151,<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.federalregister.gov/executive-order/14151__;!!CPANwP4y!XwyXk3DLiUG9d8B4qe9KKkcHCP5FqMq-Nz0ZeR60KDV8sXXhS4D5bob-yvDe67KAnPzpbpaqMeSBrn36_lhzhybRRg$> Ending Radical and Wasteful Government DEI Programs and Preferencing was referenced. We did remove the title and I feel not so great about this.

Sometimes I feel like the Debbie Downer of this group-- I am so sorry, y'all. The good news for us is that Most of our SPR sections were approved.
