<p class="MsoNormal">We just implemented a new web site widget (WeGlot) which translated it as “Libros parlantes” – you can view all the language at

https://www.dclibrary.org/using-the-library/dc-talking-book-and-braille-program-nls</a> in Spanish by selecting that language from the “translate” drop-down menu. We’re in the process of working with WeGlot and DC constituent services offices to correct some
of the translations, but I haven’t spoken to them about this one yet to see if it’s correct for Spanish-speakers in the District.<o:p></o:p></p>

grabados’, and specifies that it’s only recordings that reproduce the text of a book. The Mexican National library seems to remain mute. The Library of Congress uses ‘audiobooks’, and then refines the term ‘Talking book’, saying it’s only used for ‘spoken
texts recorded specifically for the blind or people with visual disabilities’. Most commercial organizations like publishers, Amazon, or Audible use the term ‘audiolibros’.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
