Training opportunities
Thursday, December 17th, Washington County MDT will host a free, full-day training for MDT member agencies by sex offender treatment expert Cory Jewell Jensen (M.S., CCSOT). Child Abuse and Sex Offenders: What Investigators and Child Advocates Should Know will cover topics ranging from tactics sex offenders use to groom both children and adults to how to best conduct sex offender interviews from a legal perspective.

Please see the attached agenda for more details, and don't forget to return the attached registration form to reserve your space at the training!  Although MDT members will be given priority regarding attendance, please feel free to share this invitation with others in your agency who might be interested.

OCFIT 2016 Registration Open for Eugene (January 12-15) and Bend (February 23-26)!
If you have been before or if this is your first time, the Oregon Child Forensic Interview Training is a great opportunity to learn or enhance your knowledge regarding evidence-based approaches to forensic interviewing.  For more information on where the trainings are being held, registration deadlines and applications please see the attached flyer.
