Training Overview

This intensive 5-day training will help you understand forensic interviewing in Oregon and guide you in engaging with the Oregon Interviewing Guidelines. The Oregon Child Forensic Interview Training (OCFIT) is evidence-based, supported by up-to-date research, and approved by the National Children’s Alliance to meet all Forensic Interview Training Standards.

Monday, March 2 (1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

Tuesday, March 3 (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

Wednesday, March 4 (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

Thursday, March 5  (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

Friday, March 6 (8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)

Tuition

OCFIT tuition will not be due until after the application status notifications are released.

Once an applicant is conditionally accepted for the training, they will be required to pay the $350.00 ($358.18 when paid via card) tuition by Wednesday, February 18, to secure their spot.

OCAS will provide payment instructions with the conditional acceptance notification email.
