<b><i>Oregon Department of Justice, Crime Victims’ Services Division (</i><em><span style="font-style:normal">CVSD) and its Advisory Committee and VAWA Implementation Plan Subcommittee</span></em></b> are
<u>conducting a brief survey</u> to guide the process that ensures that VAWA monies are used to address the highest priority policy and service gaps for survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Oregon. The new Statewide STOP VAWA Implementation Plan for
FY 2017 - 2019 must demonstrate how the state enhances coordination and integration of state, local, and tribal law enforcement, prosecution, courts, and victim services response to cases involving violence against victims.

Representatives from underserved populations, population specific organizations, the 9 Federally-recognized Tribes, and interested stakeholders are strongly encouraged to participate in the planning process through November 2016. The subcommittee will meet
at CVSD on August 26, 2016 from 9 am – 1:30 pm to begin the development of the new Implementation Plan for Oregon.

parenting arrangements following separation. Family court practice must account for the myriad ways in which parenting in the context of domestic violence is enacted and experienced by individual people, including children and their separating parents. This
session will offer guidance on identifying, understanding and accounting for the effects of coercive control on post-separation parenting and co-parenting.
