<p class="m-6146400250553904071default"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Dr. Tammy Scheidegger is a tenured, Associate Professor in the Graduate Program in Counseling at Mount Mary University and the Practicum and Internship Coordinator. She received her Ph.D.

 in Marriage and Family Therapy from The Ohio State University in 1998 and has undergraduate and graduate degrees in family and human development.  Dr. Scheidegger has worked with a variety of clients in several modalities (i.e. individual, couples, and families),

 and has a specialization in Family Therapy with children and adolescents. She has also worked extensively with eating disordered clients and in the area of trauma and disaster response. She speaks extensively on secondary traumatic stress, trauma informed

 care and trauma sensitive schools, supervision in the counseling profession, and child and adolescent development in the context of family functioning. She has also consulted with under-served rural schools on mental health and counseling needs. Her publications

 include the following: <i>Parenting practices of rural families and their relationship to adolescent educational and emotional outcomes</i>,

Family structure, process, and values as influences on educational aspirations among rural youth.

Engaging children in therapeutic enactments with the use of a video camera, and Emergency intervention procedures to prevent suicide among runaway youth: A manual.

</i>She currently teaches courses related to trauma counseling, couples and family therapy, eating disorders, psychopathology and advanced issues in clinical mental health.

<span style="font-size:14.0pt;line-height:125%">Bethany Miller is the Director of Injury and Violence Prevention Programs within the Division of Child, Adolescent and Family Health. Bethany comes to HRSA with nearly nine years of federal service at the Administration

 of Children and Families (ACF) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. Bethany has served as Project Officer over numerous discretionary grants, technical assistance contracts, and evaluation contracts in both the child welfare and

 children’s mental health arenas. Prior to federal service, Bethany spent the first eight years of her career as a clinical social worker in the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area. Bethany received her Master of Social Welfare from the University of California,

 Los Angeles, and also has a Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, both from Virginia Commonwealth University.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"">Anne Pedrick has been an advocate for children since earning her undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science from Wilmington College in 1991. While working at the Division of Family Services,

 Anne specialized in sexual abuse and serious injury death/near death cases. She received a Master's degree in counseling with honors from Wilmington College in 1998, and, in 2000, she became Program Administrator of the newly created Office of the Child Advocate

 (OCA). She started her career in child death review as the Program Administrator for OCA and helped to create the current structure and staffing at the Child Death Review Commission (CDRC).  Anne has been the Executive Director for the Child Death Review Commission

 for over ten years.  In addition, Anne is an adjunct faculty member at Wilmington University.
