years of his career being an advocate for children. For the last three years, Stephen was the Executive Director of a statewide non-profit responsible for producing the Kids Count Data Book for Alabama. This data is used to advocate for the health, education,
safety, and economic security of Alabama's children at the local, state, and federal levels.</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif;color:#1A191A">

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif;color:#00447C">In addition, he worked for two years as a trainer and non-profit consultant for Troy University Continuing Education and Outreach.
In that role, he taught hundreds of professionals all over Alabama on topics ranging from effective non-profit management to risk management to public speaking and diversity education. Stephen has also worked in fund development and event planning, hosting
the largest Capitol Hill Day in Montgomery in 2019, with more than 1,000 children from across the state converging on the capitol to highlight the importance of the 2020 Census. A native of Nashville, Stephen is thrilled at the opportunity to return home and
work on behalf of the CACs of Tennessee.</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif;color:#1A191A"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
