Good Morning!

The State of Oregon has a vacancy to volunteer in the role of Minnesota Multistate Contracting Alliance for Pharmacy (MMCAP) Pharmacy Representative.  This role was previously held by Doug Butler from the Oregon Department of Corrections.  The description of the role is attached to this email.  Here are a few things to consider:


?  Preference will be given to a Pharmacist (a Pharmacy Technician can fill this role);

?  Does the person have the capacity to participate in monthly conference calls, yearly National Membership Conference (NMC) in Minnesota, consultation on pharmacy related questions for Oregon MMCAP members, participation as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for pharmacy related items? (approximately 1-3 hour average monthly commitment);

?  Does the person have a knowledge base that represents the different type of entities purchasing pharmaceutical within Oregon?  Currently there are the following types of pharmacies - Correctional (State & Local), University Student Health, County Health (general pharmacy, WIC, STD, TB, Outbreaks, Contraceptives), Public Health (including immunization, WIC, STD, TB, HIV, Maternal/Child), Veterinarian (University & Local) and some Mental Health.  This is not required but is favorable.

?  Does this person have knowledge of the MMCAP program?
