<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">MMCAP will not be extending their contract with Clean Harbors for Hazardous Pharmaceutical Waste Hauling Services. Contract #MMS14036 will terminate September 30, 2019, despite initial intentions
to extend the term of the contract. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Discussions between the Clean Harbors and MMCAP the were unable to come to an agreement regarding acceptable rate increases. MMCAP did not feel it was in the best interest of the membership to
accept significant increases. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Termination of the referenced MMCAP Contract may be a hardship for facilities utilizing the contract, and MMCAP plans to move forward with a new solicitation as soon as possible to ensure a minimum
contract lapse. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">We encourage members to schedule a final waste pickup prior to September 30, 2019 in an attempt to minimize the service disruption to your facility.
