[MyOEBB] OEBB Member Communication re: Health Assessment Incentive Drawing

Dear Business Managers, Superintendents and Benefits Administrators:

The attached documents are for your information/reference only. No action is required.

OEBB and its medical carriers are collaborating to offer a valuable incentive for members to complete their online health assessment. Each subscriber or spouse/partner enrolled in an OEBB medical plan who completes an online health assessment between January 1, 2013, and May 31, 2014, will automatically receive an entry into a drawing for one of 23 $500 pre-paid Visa gift cards. All the details of this incentive can be found in Attachment 1 from the April 14, 2014, OEBB Board meeting. Here is a direct link to that document for your convenience:

The attached communications will be sent by OEBB directly to each member enrolled in an OEBB medical plan later this week. (Those enrolled in a Kaiser medical plan will receive the Kaiser letter and those enrolled in a Moda Health medical plan will receive the Moda letter.)

These communications will be delivered via email if the member has selected that preference in the MyOEBB system; otherwise they will be delivered hard copy USPS mail to the member's home/mailing address.

Please be aware that OEBB has fully vetted the legality of this drawing with the Department of Justice and this incentive is in full compliance with all regulations, laws and policies, including HIPAA and government ethics.
