[MyOEBB system updates]

Dear Business Managers, Superintendents & Benefits Administrators:

We have a couple announcements for you:

1)    December BIE Meeting Cancelled

The December 18th Benefits Information Exchange (BIE) Meeting has been cancelled. We plan to continue our "third Thursday of the month" schedule into the new year, so the next meeting will be Thursday, January 15, 2015. A 2015 meeting schedule is attached for your convenience.

Note: In the November BIE Meeting we had mentioned trying to schedule a Towers Watson ACA webinar in the same timeslot instead of holding the December BIE Meeting; however, the Towers Watson ACA expert was not available at that time. See #2 below for the webinar details.


2)    Towers Watson ACA Webinar - January 16, 2015

Towers Watson will host a webinar for OEBB-participating entities to review ACA requirements and guidelines. This webinar will be held Friday, January 16, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. to approximately 11:30 a.m., including time at the end for any questions you may have. An email invitation with login information will be distributed closer to that date.


This webinar will cover much of the same material that Towers Watson presented at the OASBO Conference November 13, 2014. You may find it helpful to review the slides used in the OASBO presentation to get familiar with the concepts and prepare any questions prior to the January webinar.
