[MyOEBB system updates]

Dear Business Managers, Superintendents & Benefits Administrators:


Per OEBB rules (OAR 111-080-0055<http://arcweb.sos.state.or.us/pages/rules/oars_100/oar_111/111_080.html>), OEBB must complete a Dependent Eligibility Verification (DEV) Review for each participating entity at least once every three years. OEBB plans to begin the first of these reviews in April 2014. The OEBB website now features a new page specifically to share information and help Employing Entities plan for these reviews.

You can find this page in the left-menu of the OEBB site by clicking "Employing Entity Home", and then "Entity DEV Reviews". The direct URL for the page is:

This page includes:

*         an overview of the DEV Review process,

*         OEBB's proposed schedule for 2014,

*         complete details on the documentation members will be required to provide,

*         information on using a third party vendor for your entity's review and the process to get third party vendors approved, and

*         a copy of the slides used in a recent presentation to the Benefits Information Exchange (BIE) Group.



We are currently developing Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and will add those to the site soon, continuing to enhance them as new questions arise.



Keep in mind, the responsibility to conduct these reviews lies with OEBB, not the employing entity. Entities are not required to incur any additional cost or provide any services related to these reviews. OEBB is simply providing this information in order to make the process as transparent and efficient as possible.
