Just a reminder to join us for this afternoon's BIE meeting at 2:00pm. Log-in information below, agenda attached.

Some tips for joining the webinar:


VISUALS -

Don't use the "View in Browser" option, be sure to download the software to access the session. The "View in Browser" option will leave you unable to see the visuals onscreen.



AUDIO -

Option 1 (the best option when it works) - Once you're logged in, click on the "Start" tab (it may default to that tab without needing to click) and use the second audio option "Have the system call me". Enter your phone number and click the button - the system will call you and when you answer the phone you should hear "hold music" until we open the phone line at 2:10 p.m.

Option 2 (next best if the system doesn't call you) - If you try Option 1 above and the system doesn't call you (which is a tech problem we experienced last month), use the third onscreen option "Dial in to the meeting" and call us. If you use this option, be sure to mute your phone from your end, either on your actual phone, or by pressing *6. We generally have over 100 people joining, so you can imagine the distractions that occur from background noise and/or hold music if people don't mute their phone lines.



Once you successfully have video and audio, click the button within the webinar to "Raise Your Hand" so we know all is working properly for you. Use the online chat function to type questions or comments for OEBB staff throughout the meeting beginning at 2:00 p.m.  At 2:10 p.m. we will take our phone off hold, the music will stop, and we will start the rest of the meeting.

NOTE: THIS MEETING HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED - NEW DATE AND TIME! (THIS MONTH ONLY)

Due to a busy schedule of Insurance Committee meetings, the May BIE meeting has been rescheduled to earlier in the month. The May BIE Meeting will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2014 (2 - 4pm) in OEBB's Bachelor Butte Conference Room (same building, just downstairs, for those who attend in person). We will still be utilizing the webinar format for those who join remotely.

Attached please find the agenda for this month's Benefits Information Exchange (BIE) Meeting/Webinar which typically occurs on the third Thursday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon. (No meetings in August or September, due to Open Enrollment.) However, as noted above, this month's schedule is different. This month's meeting will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2014 (2 - 4pm). See log-in details below in the "How" section.
We try to record each meeting, although technical difficulties do occasionally occur. What: OEBB's Benefits Information Exchange (BIE) Group Meeting - agenda attached
When: Wednesday, May 7, 2014 (2 - 4 p.m.) - normally the third Thursday of each month, 10 a.m. - noon (no meetings August or September)
Where: Join from any computer via iLinc webinar
Who & Why: The purpose of the BIE Group is to facilitate improved communication between OEBB and participating educational entities. All interested entity representatives (business managers, benefit representatives, payroll staff, IT staff, etc.) are welcome to attend either in person or via the iLinc webinar. Please share this invitation with any appropriate coworkers who may not be on our listserv. Typical agenda items include a recap of that month's board meeting, a walk-through of one or two reports in Report Mart, and updates on upcoming MyOEBB system modifications and member communications. We also invite questions and suggestions on any topics you would like to discuss.
