[MyOEBB] OEBB reminder to members re: health assessment

[MyOEBB system updates]

Dear Business Managers, Superintendents, and Benefits Managers:

This message is advance notice of a communication OEBB is sending directly to members. You don't need to take any action, although we do appreciate your help in reminding members about the May 31 deadline.

Just FYI, OEBB is sending reminders to subscribers and spouse/partners who are enrolled in an OEBB medical plan, and as of May 1, 2014, had not yet taken their online health assessment. This message will remind them of the May 31, 2014 deadline to qualify for the $500 gift card drawing as well as to complete "Step 2" of the Healthy Futures program.

These reminders provide specific instructions for completing the health assessment based on the member's medical plan (see sample language attached).

For those who have an email address in the MyOEBB system, we are sending detailed emails with the language slightly adjusted so it is specific to who has not completed the assessment, and specific to the medical plan they have:


1)     Subscriber only - Moda

2)     Subscriber and spouse/partner - Moda

3)     Spouse/partner only - Moda

4)     Subscriber only - Kaiser

5)     Subscriber and spouse/partner - Kaiser

6)     Spouse/partner only - Kaiser

For those who do not have an email address in the MyOEBB system, we are mailing hard-copy postcards, specifically addressed to each individual who has not completed the HA (so if both a subscriber and their spouse/partner have yet to complete a HA, they will each receive their own individually addressed postcard with the attached language.)
