[MyOEBB] Notification being mailed to OEBB members this week

[MyOEBB system updates]

Dear Business Managers, Superintendents & Benefits Administrators:

OEBB is mailing the attached notice to all OEBB benefits-eligible members this week. The notice itself explains the requirement, but to summarize, it is in compliance with ADA requirements related to employer-sponsored wellness programs. Although OEBB is not technically "the employer" for OEBB members, we do sponsor the Healthy Futures wellness program, which is made available to members as a part of their employer-sponsored healthcare benefits; therefore, after consulting with DOJ, we determined the best course of action to ensure compliance would be to mail the notice directly.

If you have already prepared or delivered your own notice, there is no problem with notifying members twice. We just wanted to make sure everyone received the notice at least once and relieve you of the responsibility.
