Good Morning

I wanted to take a few minutes to remind you of what to expect this week and post open enrollment.

OEBB, the carriers and probably you will not be in the office this Saturday, September 15th.  Members that need help should plan accordingly and give us, their employer or the carriers a call during this work week.

After open enrollment, here is what to expect:


  *   Sunday, September 16th, OEBB will send the first batch of open enrollment files to the carriers.  Carriers will receive additional open enrollment files on Saturday, September 22nd and September 29th.  Starting October 1st, carriers will receive regular files weekly from OEBB.


  *   Entity Admin will still see the open enrollment segments in the MyOEBB Admin Module through September 30th.  You can use these open enrollment segments to assist employees with enrollments and corrections.  But, if an employee is experiencing a QSC, please use the appropriate QSC.  For example, if they just got married on September 15th, please use the "Gain Spouse" QSC.



  *   "12 Month Wait Letters" will go out around September 28th.  These letters will go to employees letting them know that they and/or their dependents have a 12-month wait on dental.


  *   From October 1st to October 31st, you will be able to use the "Correcting Processing Errors" QSC to assist employees in their open enrollment corrections.  Please make sure all open enrollment corrections go back to October 1st.  NEVER do a prospective open enrollment correction.


  *   Please do not send employees to OEBB during this time (September 16th to October 31st) due to missed open enrollment or corrections.  You are able to handle these on your end.
