[MyOEBB] OEBB Open Enrollment and Wildfires

I wanted to reach out to everyone to first make sure you and your loved ones are safe and secondly to let you know about options for open enrollment.

Last Wednesday morning I was evacuated from my home in Neotsu due to the Echo Mountain Complex Fire.  We had minutes to leave as the fire was one mile away. This is a very scary situation for anyone and the last thing you are thinking about is work and open enrollment (myself included).  We were able to return to our home (still standing) late last week but many others are still at temporary housing or do not have a home in which to return.

So, you, as the entity admin, have unlimited access to open enrollment links in the MyOEBB Admin Module to make needed changes for members.  You don't have to use a QSC unless it really is a QSC.  But, if it is only an open enrollment update then just use the links and make changes for your employees.  Please make sure you have some form of documentation of any changes such as a form or an email.  Do not do changes over the phone or while they are standing in your office.  You have full access to these links through September 30, 2020.

>From October 1st to October 31st, you can use the "Correcting Processing Errors" QSC to make any needed changes for your employees.  Please make sure to back date any open enrollment changes to start effective October 1, 2020.  Again, please make sure you have some form of documentation of any changes as noted above.

This has been a tough year and we are thankful we opted for a passive open enrollment this year.  Please let us know how we can assist you.
