[MyOEBB system updates]

Hello

Well, we are getting close to that time of year again.  That's right, Open Enrollment starts on August 15th and enrollment is mandatory this year.  Mandatory Open Enrollment means EVERYONE must enter the MyOEBB system and complete enrollment as OEBB will terminate all medical, dental and vision plans as of September 30, 2021.

Downtimes
MyOEBB system will have a few downtimes this year so be aware our system will be unavailable on the following dates and times:
Friday, August 6th from 8 am to 4 pm (rollover)
Saturday, August 14th from 8 am until midnight (rollover)

  *   During these rollovers we will be:
     *   mass terming all medical, dental and vision plans
     *   moving Optional Life plans to the next age bracket if applicable
     *   clearing Medicare eligibility flags marked "No"
     *   mass enrolling members in Mandatory and Basic optional plans
Tuesday, August 31st from 8 pm until 8 - 10 am next morning (invoicing)

  *   During this time please refrain from scheduling labs, etc.

Many of you participated in our BIE meeting last week but I want to take time to review our important timeline.  I've also attached my presentation for your information so you can review at your leisure.

OEBB Timeline

  *   1st FULL week of July (July 5th) - Data pull for "Pre OE" Mailing (get the following tasks done prior to this week)
     *   Get New Hires and Terminations done in MyOEBB
     *   Get employees in the right groups
     *   Make sure addresses are correct
     *   Make sure your plans are correct for the upcoming OE
  *   Week of July 4th - OEBB sends the Christmas in July file to the Carriers
  *   July 26th  - Mail drop for "Heads-Up" Postcard
  *   August 2nd  - Mail drop for "Pre OE" Mailing
  *   August 16th - Mail drop for "Required" Postcard"
  *   August 15th  to September 15th
     *   Open Enrollment
     *   Open Enrollment Webinars
     *   Carrier Benefit Fairs
  *   September 16th to September 30th
     *   Entity Admin OE Clean Up
     *   12 Month Wait Letters for dental
     *   Last Batches of Post OE Mailings
        *   MIA
        *   No email
     *   Delta Dental PPO Dental Plans & PCP 360 Mailing
     *   October 1st
     *   New Plan Year starts
     *   Double Coverage Surcharge Mailing
  *   October 1st to October 31st
     *   Entities can fix OE issues with a QSC
     *   Please fix at your level and don't send to OEBB
  *   November 1st to December 31st
     *   OEBB accepts and usually fixes OE issues via appeal
  *   January 1st on....
     *   Appeals accepted by OEBB
     *   OEBB is done with OE corrections
