From myoebb at omls.oregon.gov Wed Jan 14 17:10:26 2026 From: myoebb at omls.oregon.gov (MyOEBB system updates) Date: Thu, 15 Jan 2026 01:10:26 +0000 Subject: [MyOEBB] Important Updates About OEBB's Long-Term Care Coverage through Unum Message-ID: Dear OEBB administrators and entities, Following are important reminders and updates about OEBB's long-term care (LTC) coverage. LTC coverage helps pay for care you may need when you cannot perform certain activities. These activities include bathing, dressing, and eating on your own. LTC plans are regulated by the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services (DCBS). DCBS also approves premium increases. The OEBB Board doesn't regulate the plans or approve the premiums. New Enrollment Ends January 31 Unum will not accept any new applications for coverage after January 31, 2026. This is a nationwide decision from Unum and includes all OEBB members. New hires cannot enroll in LTC coverage. If you already have LTC coverage, you can still make changes to your existing coverage after February 1, 2026. Plan Administration OEBB will continue to administer LTC plans for current enrollments for the current plan year. Later this year, the board will decide how to manage LTC coverage in the future. Members can use Unum's premium calculator to review the current rates: https://unuminfo.com/OEBB002/calculator.aspx Other LTC Options Also, keep in mind that there are other LTC coverage options available. Members can explore individual policies through other major insurers if they prefer. Review approved LTC partnerships in Oregon to find an individual plan. Next Steps If you have any questions about the Unum coverage described above, contact OEBB member services at: Email: oebb.benefits at odhsoha.oregon.gov Phone: 888-469-6322 Sincerely, OEBB -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
