<p class="MsoNormal">OEBB has received a number of questions regarding federal healthcare reform and how it will affect educational entities. Below are a few items you may find useful:<o:p></o:p></p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo3">Towers Watson will be presenting an update on healthcare reform to the Board in this Thursday’s public board meeting. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. and will be available by live video stream.
A link to the video stream will be sent via email the day of the meeting as well as posted to the homepage of the OEBB website (<a href="http://www.oregon.gov/oha/oebb">www.oregon.gov/oha/oebb</a>) when the meeting begins.<o:p></o:p></li></ol>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo3">In early February, Towers Watson will be hosting a webinar to assist educational entities in complying with the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The exact date and time have not yet been determined, but details
will be announced as they become available.<o:p></o:p></li></ol>
<p class="MsoListParagraph"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<ol style="margin-top:0in" start="3" type="1">
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo3">One of the details to be covered in the webinar is a mandatory notification to employees regarding participation in the Healthcare Exchange, to be delivered no later than March 1. OEBB will send this notification
to all members in mid-February. Educational entities will not need to send this notification to employees who are in the MyOEBB system at that time. We will send entities an email one week before we pull the addresses for this communication, which will hopefully
allow enough time to get any newly-eligible employees in the MyOEBB system prior to the data pull. If you have any employee groups not participating in OEBB, or benefits-eligible employees not in the system at that time, you will need to communicate to those
employees. <o:p></o:p></li></ol>
