Note: This is a new, different survey conducted = by an outside company - not to be confused with the OEBB health assessment = or the OEBB Annual Member Survey, both of which recently ended. This new request will come from RTI International, a research and survey fi= rm. The survey is part of the State Innovation Models (SIM) Initiative eval= uation. The SIM Initiative is within the federal Centers for Medicare & Med= icaid Services. This initiative provides support to states to develop and t= est different health care reforms. The goal is to improve health system per= formance for state residents. The SIM evaluation looks at the experience of= health care consumers. Data gathered from the survey helps gauge if the he= alth care system improves from the patient's viewpoint. If you receive an email asking you to take part in the survey, please know = that it is a new and legitimate request, and the State of Oregon would appr= eciate your participation. The survey will ask about your experience with h= ealth care providers in the last 12 months. RTI's analysis of the survey data will provide the state with important ins= ights into consumers' views of the health care they receive from the provid= ers who serve OEBB members.
