Hello OAC Group,

I'll be out on vacation all of next week and I just found out that Vicki Simonsen may not be available to lead the meeting either, so I'm going to go ahead and cancel the March OAC meeting to be on the safe side.

We will meet back up in April but in the meantime I do want to share a few pieces of information with you:


-        At our last OAC meeting we talked about contract expiration notice emails that are automatically sent to Contract Administrators. These emails go out once a month on the 17th. Historically, the emails started going out to Non-DAS Authority Agencies starting at 180 days prior to contract expiration, but only 60 days prior for the DAS Authority Agencies. We have now updated this so that every agency will receive them starting at 180 days prior. This change will take effect on 3/17/14.

-        It's been awhile since I sent this out, so in case there are OAC's who might like to use it, I've attached an ORPIN New User form that we created several years ago. It captures all of the information you need to know when setting up a new user for your agency. (FYI - If they check the 'create' action items on the form, you should give them a Delegated Buyer role. If they do not check any of the 'create' actions, you can just give them a Small Purchaser (Agent) role.) Once I set up a new user, I like to use the "Forgot your username or password?" option on the login screen to prompt ORPIN to send them their username and a temporary password. I just enter their email address and username, and ORPIN will email the login information to them within five minutes.

-        Just another reminder that the next session of the ORPIN Full System Training is May 8th, and it is now available for reservations in iLearn. If you know of anyone at your agency who may be interested in attending, please encourage them to sign up soon.
