Should the following roles be able to create and issue Purchase Requests in the upgraded version of ORPIN? * Bid Clerk - In the current version of ORPIN this role can create and issue manual bids but nothing else. The rest of their access is view-only. * ORS190 - In the current version of ORPIN this role can create and issue ORS190 documents and PR's. The rest of their access is view-only. * Small Purchaser (Agent) - In the current version of ORPIN this role can create and issue PR's but nothing else. The rest of their access is view-only. We are also toying with the idea of removing the Bid Clerk role entirely because there are very few users in the system with this role. In fact, of those people who are using it, we wonder if they really need a Bid Clerk role (do they actually enter manual bids for your agency?) or whether they could be changed to a Small Purchaser role. Please see the attached list of users who currently have a Bid Clerk role. If you feel that this role legitimately needs to stay, please let me know by 5/15/15. Otherwise we will assume that we can delete the role and change these users over to the Small Purchaser role instead. In the upgraded version of ORPIN, we noticed that Notices have it in one location while Opportunities have it in another. We are going to move one of them so the locations are consistent, but we want your input on where it should go. In the upgrade the Notice document type has the Invite/Notify Suppliers option as a part of the Maintain (Document Wizard) area. This would serve as a reminder to buyers as they are doing their document creation to think about whether they want to invite or notify any suppliers. It would be the last screen to show up on the document wizard, right after Geographic Bid Match. [cid:image001.jpg at 01D088E8.E703A3B0] An Opportunity has this tool in the Additional section instead. Buyers do not have to process through the page when using the document wizard to create their document. Instead they have to remember to go to the Additional section if they want to invite or notify suppliers. [cid:image002.jpg at 01D088E8.E703A3B0] Let us know what you think. We'll go with whatever the majority tells us. Thanks!
