[Oac-link] Question on Public Records Requests & ORPIN

Jennifer,

There isn't anything posted on the ORPIN system that specifically talks about where to send public records requests. We do have information in our FAQ documents that says to contact the agencies if anyone has questions about documents posted on ORPIN, but that is about it.

Hello!

I was curious about how many of your agencies receive public records requests through contact on the ORPIN system. Do any of you find that suppliers either contact the contract administrator listed on the contract/solicitation document, or do they contact you directly as the agency OAC? The Department of Human Services/Oregon Health Authority is working to streamline our public records request process and is seeking input on any best practices when requests have come because suppliers are looking on ORPIN for contact information. For the DAS folks: is there anything on ORPIN that specifically directs suppliers regarding public records requests?
