<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left:0in"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">As you are aware, the ORPIN 2 project has been in an evaluation period since January 2013 to give DAS Executive management the opportunity to assess
the project. </span><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">After completing their assessment, the executives have determined that the current SciQuest system does not fully support the enterprise business needs of the State of Oregon. Therefore, they
have made the decision not to implement the SciQuest solution. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif""><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left:0in"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">DAS is still committed to implementing a full procure-to-pay e-procurement system to support Oregon’s strategic sourcing objectives. When a new project
is initiated, the Strategic Initiatives Office of the Chief Operating Office will engage procurement and accounts payable professionals from across the enterprise to detail requirements for a new RFP. A timeline has not yet been established for this work.
