<DIV>Attached you will find information about the new Dept of Human Services "Health Professionals Program" (HPP) set to begin July 1, 2010. This is the mandated "impairment" program (HB 2345) for all health licensing boards. That is, if any health licensing board currently has an impairment program in place all enrollees will be transferred into this program. If a Board <EM>does not</EM> have a program they may 'opt-in' to the program. OBPE has opted-out of the program at this time due to concerns (primarily) about the costs to our licensees and the self-referral process.</DIV>
