<p class="MsoNormal" style="background:white"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;color:#1A1A1A">In response to a surge in COVID-19 hospitalizations, Governor Kate Brown established a statewide indoor mask requirement that began Friday, August
13, 2021. To clarify, this means that all psychologists and clients must wear masks if they are meeting indoors. In addition, effective Friday, August 27, 2021 Governor Brown ordered that masks are required in public outdoor settings where physical distancing
is not possible, regardless of vaccination status. In a separate but related note, psychologists must continue to follow all OHA Guidelines (<a href="https://sharedsystems.dhsoha.state.or.us/DHSForms/Served/le2351m.pdf"><span style="color:#103CC0">Mask, Face
Covering, and Face Shield Requirements for Health Care Offices</span></a>, June 30, 2021) for healthcare settings which stipulates that both clinicians and clients are required to wear face coverings. Please be advised that when the Governor’s statewide indoor
or outdoor mask mandates end, the OHA Guidelines will still be in place until OHA changes this policy. </span><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background:white;font-stretch: normal"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;color:#1A1A1A"> </span><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background:white"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;color:#1A1A1A">As well, in accordance with
<a href="https://secure.sos.state.or.us/oard/view.action?ruleNumber=333-019-1010">
OAR 333-019-1010</a>, all health care providers and staff in healthcare settings are required to be fully vaccinated or request an exemption by October 18, 2021. To be fully vaccinated, health care providers and staff in healthcare settings have either received
both doses of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine or one dose of a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine and are at least 14 days beyond their final dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Employers of healthcare providers or healthcare staff, or other responsible parties who violate OAR
333-019-1010 are subject to civil penalties of $500 per day per violation by the Oregon Health Authority. In addition, </span><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;color:#262626">OBOP may impose sanctions for violations of Governor’s executive orders
or Oregon laws in accordance with ORS 675.070 (authorized sanctions). </span><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
