Trapping Task Force to Hold Final Meeting Thursday

PORTLAND - A task force appointed by the 2001 Legislature to review best =
management practices for trapping will meet in Salem Thursday to finalize =
its recommendations to the 2003 Legislature.=20

The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the basement meeting room at the =
Oregon Department of Agriculture, 635 Capitol Street NE, Salem.=20

The task force has studied trapping practices used in other states, and =
those developed by the International Association of Fish and Wildlife =
Agencies. Members of the public will have an opportunity to testify. ODFW =
staff members serve as advisors to the task force.=20
