CORRECTION

Report on commercial halibut fishery wrong

SALEM - A media report today incorrectly stated that commercial salmon
trollers must toss back all salmon they catch as of 11:59 p.m. last
night. This is incorrect. 
The correct information is that the incidental non-treaty commercial
halibut fishery during the salmon troll season has closed. Commercial
salmon trollers must toss back ALL HALIBUT they catch.
Please share the correct information with the public.
