Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) and Department of State Lands
(DSL) are proposing rules for adoption for the <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Cape</st1:PlaceType>
<st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Perpetua</st1:PlaceName>, Cascade Head and <st1:place
w:st="on"><st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Cape</st1:PlaceType> <st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Falcon</st1:PlaceName></st1:place>
sites as directed by Senate Bill 1510. ODFW and DSL <b><span style='font-weight:
bold'>draft rules</span></b> specific to their respective jurisdictions are currently<b><span
style='font-weight:bold'> available for public review and comment</span></b>.
The fishing prohibitions are being scheduled to take effect after baseline data
are collected, for each site.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

public comment period extends up to the Fish and Wildlife Commission meeting on

bold'>August 3, 2012</span></b>. DSL’s public comment period extends to <b><span
style='font-weight:bold'>5 PM, Friday, July 27, 2012. </span></b>Four joint
hearings/public meetings are being held by ODFW and DSL on the coast on June
19, 20, 25 and 26.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
