[ODLC] Executive Committee position opening and upcoming ODLC Governing Board meeting on 4/26/23,

[ODLC Executive Committee]

Hello ODLC Members,

Two announcements:

1. Next week, I will send out the agenda for our upcoming ODLC Governing
Board meeting. It will be a virtual meeting, held on Wednesday, Apr. 26,
2023 from 3-5pm. The Executive Committee want it on your radar that we
won't be meeting in person at the Oregon Library Association (OLA)
Conference this year.

2. The position for Executive Committee Vice-Chair/Incoming Chair is
without a candidate for the coming year. This role is a two-year
commitment and will begin on July 1, 2023.

I have found my participation on the Executive Committee the past three
years to be rewarding and really informative about the workings of our
consortium and how the behind-the-scenes processes work. Our consortium
relies on our member libraries to step in and lend a hand with the
administration. Please consider giving the role a try -- you will join a
very supportive group of colleagues!

Do you:

   - seek to collaborate with amazing library people from across Oregon?
   - want to advocate for the highly circulating and popular
   Library2Go/Libby/Overdrive service we offer our patrons?
   - know someone who would be perfect for this role who you could
   encourage to join?

If yes to any of the above, I appreciate your help on behalf of the ODLC.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions! Having a candidate before
the Governing Board meeting on 4/26 is ideal.
