Hello All,



I’m happy to share some updates from your Oregon Digital Library Consortium
(ODLC) Executive Committee.



   - Our Spring ODLC Governing Board meeting will be virtual
      - *Save the date*!  *Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 3-5pm*
   - Elections: At our Spring Governing Board meeting, we will hold ODLC
   Executive Committee Officer Elections
      - The Governing Board members elect candidates for the Executive
      Committee
      - Positions begin July 1, 2024
      - The following positions are up for election
         - *Vice Chair/Chair-elect*
            - *Two-year term with second year as Chair*
            - *No one currently on the ballot*
         - Secretary
            - One-year term
            - Current secretary, Stephanie Chase, will be on the ballot
         - Selection Chair
            - Elected bi-annually, two-year term
               - Exception due to vacancy: The current selection chair was
               appointed by the Executive Committee in October 2022
after a vacancy. In
               accordance with ODLC by-laws, we will hold an election
of this position to
               complete the current term.
               - Term will be through June 30, 2024
            - Current Selection Chair, Charla Oppenlander, will be on the
            ballot
         - Two *members at large positions*
            - One-year terms
            - Current at large member, Ryan McGinnis, will be on the ballot
            - *One opening on the ballot*
         - OverDrive app sunset
      - On Jan. 9, 2023, OverDrive emailed out communications about the
      sunset of the Overdrive app.
      - *The OverDrive app will be sunset at the end of April 2023*
         - There is currently in-app messaging that reminds people to
         switch to Libby
      - Next ODLC Executive Committee meeting: Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 4pm.
