Hello all,
On Monday, October 28 the ODLC Governing Board met for their fall
business meeting. You can find the minutes of that meeting here:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1iIoUxWXFthekmjrleedgY8Pgazc8Zh4MSCFY8lku93U/edit?usp=sharing
Highlights include:
- We approved the Friends of the Myrtle Creek Library to join;
- Jackson County has let us know that they plan to withdraw from ODLC
effective July 1, 2026;
- We voted to extend our contract with OverDrive for another two years;
- There are overview notes from the conversations the largest
circulating libraries in the consortium held this summer, where it was
agreed the ODLC would try to reduce overall holds wait time but would not
do so solely by focusing on the most popular titles;
- Adjustments to the bylaws were made;
- We increased the cost-per-circ checkout limits to 5, reduced the Lucky
Day checkout period to seven days from 14, and swapped the current holds
ratios for audio and ebooks.
