<div dir="ltr"><font face="arial, sans-serif"><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);white-space:pre-wrap">Hello ODLC members,</span><br><font color="#000000" style=""><span style="white-space:pre-wrap"><br>Please read on for changes coming to Overdrive and share with your libraries.<br><br></span></font><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);white-space:pre-wrap">Overdrive has new features coming on March 21, and the official sunsetting of Overdrive App-related features coming on May 1, 2023. An email from Overdrive with details should arrive in the inbox of every ODLC  member with an Overdrive Marketplace account by the end of this week.</span><br><br>Of note:<br><br><span style="white-space:pre-wrap;color:rgb(0,0,0)"><b>The official sunset date of the Overdrive app is May 1, 2023.</b></span><br><span style="white-space:pre-wrap;background-color:transparent;color:rgb(0,0,0)">Beginning March 21, Overdrive will ramp up communications with users about the Overdrive App and its associated features going away. </span></font><div><font face="arial, sans-serif"><span style="background-color:transparent;color:rgb(0,0,0);white-space:pre-wrap">Through in-app messaging, users will be directed to use Libby if they are still using the Overdrive app.</span><span style="white-space:pre-wrap;background-color:transparent;color:rgb(0,0,0)"><br></span><font color="#000000"><br></font><span style="background-color:transparent;color:rgb(0,0,0);white-space:pre-wrap;font-variant-numeric:normal;font-variant-east-asian:normal;vertical-align:baseline">The </span><span style="background-color:transparent;color:rgb(0,0,0);white-space:pre-wrap;font-variant-numeric:normal;font-variant-east-asian:normal;font-weight:700;vertical-align:baseline">Recommend to Library (RTL) </span><b><span style="background-color:transparent;color:rgb(0,0,0);white-space:pre-wrap;font-variant-numeric:normal;font-variant-east-asian:normal;vertical-align:baseline">feature</span><span style="background-color:transparent;color:rgb(0,0,0);white-space:pre-wrap;font-variant-numeric:normal;font-variant-east-asian:normal;vertical-align:baseline"> </span></b><span style="background-color:transparent;color:rgb(0,0,0);white-space:pre-wrap;font-variant-numeric:normal;font-variant-east-asian:normal;vertical-align:baseline"><b>will be discontinued across all platforms on May 1</b>.</span></font></div><div><span style="background-color:transparent;color:rgb(0,0,0);white-space:pre-wrap"><font face="arial, sans-serif">Messaging in the RTL experience will inform users about this change and encourage them to use Libby to discover and express interest in titles that are not yet in our collection.</font></span></div><div><span style="background-color:transparent;color:rgb(0,0,0);white-space:pre-wrap"><font face="arial, sans-serif">This means a change in the ordering process for the ODLC Selection Committee. We are working on strategies to adjust the ordering of requests and will share updates with ODLC members by the April 26, 2023 governing board meeting.</font></span></div><div><font face="arial, sans-serif"><span style="background-color:transparent;color:rgb(0,0,0);white-space:pre-wrap">
