and Sediment Control Manager (ESCM) Certification Training”</span></font></i></b><font
face=Arial><span style='font-family:Arial'> classes for March 14<sup>th</sup>
and March 21<sup>st</sup>. The purpose of this training is to review the
responsibilities of an ESCM on ODOT construction projects as required by the
Oregon Standard Specifications for Construction. This certification
training assesses knowledge in the Fundamentals of Erosion and Sediment
Controls required to comply with Section 280 and applicable regulatory
requirements through a process of class room instruction and testing.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-top:6.0pt'><font size=3 face=Arial><span
style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial'>It is strongly recommended that you
have knowledge of erosion control theory and how to implement temporary and
permanent measures on highway projects before you take this class. There
will be questions on the ESCM certification exam about these topics that will
not be provided to participants in the ESCM training. <b><i><font
color=blue><span style='color:blue;font-weight:bold;font-style:italic'>ODOT
scheduled two more of the “Erosion And Sediment Control
Fundamentals”</span></font></i></b> training classes that you can attend
to gain this knowledge also. Dates for those classes are March 13<sup>th</sup>
and 20<sup>th</sup>.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The March 13<sup>th</sup> and 14<sup>th</sup>

and the March 20<sup>th</sup> and 21<sup>st</sup> classes are located in
