<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">ODOT has scheduled an Erosion and Sediment Control Fundamentals training on November 20<sup>th</sup> and the Erosion and Sediment Control Manager Certification Training
on November 21<sup>st</sup>. Both classes are located in Salem. Class hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for each class.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:6.0pt;text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:black">Oregon Standard Specifications Section 280 requires contractors to provide an Erosion and Sediment Control Manager (ESCM) on a project.
In order to meet these requirements, ODOT is providing “Erosion and Sediment Control Manager Certification (ESCM) Training.”
</span><b><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:blue">This currently is an interim certification good for 2 years.
</span></b><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">For people who have had no previous erosion control training, it</span><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif""> is strongly recommended that they also enroll in ODOT Erosion and Sediment Control
Fundamentals training.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
