[OEBBBUSMAN] OEBB -- Worksite Wellness

In an effort to improve the overall health of members, OEBB is looking
at ways to assist educational entities participating in OEBB with
promoting and/or implementing worksite wellness programs for their
employees. Worksite wellness or health promotion programs are used by
many organizations to encourage and provide support for employees in
practicing healthy lifestyles and dealing with certain conditions, as
well as reducing future health care costs.

The first step in developing an OEBB wellness program is identifying the
current status and characteristics of programs currently being offered
to members through their entity. We put together a brief survey to
collect basic information on the number and type of worksite wellness
programs, as well as related challenges and needs. Understanding your
busy schedules, we have limited the survey to 13 questions that
shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes to complete. The survey can be
completed by going to:

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/NX22K6D

The results of the survey will only be reported in total and individual
responses will not distributed or shared beyond the OEBB staff assigned
to draft the program documents.

Thank you in advance for taking time to respond to this very important
survey. Information gathered from the survey will enable the Board to
develop worksite wellness initiatives and resources that are tailored to
the needs of your employees and your entity.

Please complete the survey by Friday, June 4, 2010. If you have any
questions or need assistance in answering the survey, please contact
Glenn Baly at 503-378-4960 or glenn.w.baly at state.or.us

Thank you for your participation.
