Dear Entity Business Manager, I believe this message may not have gone
through the e-mail system earlier this week.  There have been no
responses to the survey to date.  We have extended the response deadline
to Friday, November 6, but would appreciate having as many responses as
possible by the original November 3 deadline to allow staff and
consultants to begin preparing an analysis for the OEBB Board to
consider.  Thank you very much for your time.  It is very important that
the Board have a complete picture of the current spending account
offerings in our participating entities.  See below for more
information, a link to the survey and the name and number for questions.

OEBB would like to gather information about educational entities'
current use of healthcare and dependent care spending accounts. The
Board has been discussing whether to consider offering spending account
services and has asked staff to survey entities on the current use of
such services and bring that information back to them for the November
18, 2010, meeting. The Board is interested in taking a look at the type,
utilization and cost of spending accounts and reimbursement arrangements
offered to OEBB members, including: 

*         Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts

*         Limited Purpose Healthcare Flexible Spending Accounts 

*         Health Savings Accounts

*         Health Reimbursement Accounts/Arrangements

 

In an effort to gather the necessary information, we put together a
brief survey to collect basic information on the number and type of
spending accounts you offer employees and costs associated with
administration of the account(s). Understanding your busy schedules, we
have limited the survey to 11 questions that shouldn't take more than
10-15 minutes to complete. The survey can be completed by going to:

The results of the survey will only be reported in total.  We do not
anticipate sharing individual responses.
