Message to Oregon Educators Benefit Board (OEBB) Interested Parties:

Following is a REVISED notice of the public meetings of the OEBB Board for March 2013. The meeting dates, times, agenda items and locations are subject to change.

Monday, March 11, 2013 - 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 - PEBB/OEBB Boardroom, Department of Administrative Services - General Services Building, 1225 Ferry Street SE, Salem, OR 97301.  The Healthy Futures Committee will conduct a public meeting to discuss Healthy Futures, a wellness program for OEBB members. The agenda will be posted on the OEBB website on or before Friday, March 8, 2013.

Thursday, March 14, 2013 - 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. -- PEBB/OEBB Boardroom, Department of Administrative Services - General Services Building, 1225 Ferry Street SE, Salem, OR 97301.  The Strategies on Evidence and Outcomes Workgroup (SEOW) will conduct a public meeting to review and discuss the annual report for the 2011-12 Plan Year and receive updates on various topics. The agenda will be posted on the OEBB website on or before Tuesday, March 12, 2013.

Thursday, March 14, 2013 -- 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.. -- PEBB/OEBB Boardroom, Department of Administrative Services - General Services Building, 1225 Ferry Street SE, Salem, OR 97301.  The OEBB Board will convene in executive session* to consult with legal advisors relating to the definition of medical and supplemental medical plans.

Thursday, March 14, 2013 - 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. PEBB/OEBB Boardroom, Department of Administrative Services - General Services Building, 1225 Ferry Street SE, Salem, OR 97301.  The OEBB Board will conduct a public meeting.  Topics to be announced.  The agenda will be posted on the OEBB website on or before Monday, March 11, 2013.

*Executive Session: No admittance unless stated below. Thank you.
The executive session is being held pursuant to ORS 192.660(2)(f) which allows a governing body to hold an executive session to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection.
Representatives of the news media, OEBB staff and individuals specifically invited to participate are allowed to attend this executive session. Representatives of the news media are specifically directed not to report on any of the deliberations during executive session, except to state the general subject of the session as previously announced. No decision may be made in executive session.


Parking at the Dept. of Administrative Services General Services Building:
Limited metered parking is available on Ferry Street, nearby streets and in the surface lot at the corner of Ferry and 13th streets. Half- and full-day permits ($3 or $6) are available for the rooftop only of the Ferry St. parking structure.  The parking structure is located directly across the street from the meeting location. Parking permits are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Fleet & Parking Services, 1100 Airport Rd, SE, Salem, OR 97301-6082.

The meeting location is accessible to persons with disabilities. A request for an interpreter for the hearing impaired or for other accommodations for persons with disabilities should be made at least 48 hours before the meeting to Rose Mann at 503-378-4606.
