[OEBBSUPERINFO] OEBB -- Proposed Rules Filing Notice

[OEBB - Superintendents]

The Oregon Educators Benefit Board filed the following proposed rules
with the Secretary of State on April 13,2012:

Division 10 - Definitions- Revisions due to proposed comparability
changes and other housekeeping revisions 

Division 30 - Plan Design Development and Selection - Proposed revisions
are to repeal 111-030-0001, Development of OEBB Medical, Pharmaceutical,
Dental and Vision Plan Designs, and adopt new language in 111-030-0055,
Comparability Assessment Process. These sections pertain to the
comparability methodology and process.

A public hearing on these rules will be held on May 23, 2012 at 10:00
a.m. in the OEBB Boardroom at the DAS General Services Building, 1225
Ferry Street SE, Salem, Oregon.  

You can also provide written comments. Written comments can be emailed
to April Kelly at april.kelly at state.or.us or mailed in hard copy to:
April Kelly, Oregon Educators Benefit Board, 1225 Ferry Street SE, Suite
B, Salem, OR 97301.  

All public comments must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on May 31st
to be considered during the rulemaking process. Any comments received
after May 31st will not be reviewed or considered by the OEBB unless the
OEBB decides to extend the public comment period to everyone.

In addition, the OEBB staff and consultants will work with an advisory
group of interested school and education service district
representatives during the public comment process to develop language
that best meets the legislative intent under Senate Bill 426 (2007) to
save money for schools and all Oregon taxpayers.
