[OGIC] Data Sharing Resolution

Hi folks, I've been trying to get the GovSpace site ready to use and was
hoping to use it to share this document, but wasn't quite able to make
that happen and didn't want to wait any longer.  Here's the latest
version of the Data Sharing Resolution presented at the September OGIC
meeting.  I made changes suggested at that meeting.  Please review and
get any comments or suggestions back to me by Friday, Nov. 11.  I
attached the document in new and old Word format.

 

The intent of this document is to engage the Governor's Office, the
Association of Oregon Counties, and possibly the Legislature and the
League of Oregon Cities, in determining a path forward that will resolve
the impediments to data sharing, particularly between government
agencies.

 

Next steps will involve engaging AOC and meeting with several of the
Governor's Advisors, including Scott Nelson (Jobs & the Economy),
Richard Whitman (Natural Resources) and Cameron Smith (Public Safety).
