[OGIC] General OGIC Updates

Hi all.

I'm writing to provide some general updates for OGIC.


  *   It is time for us to add someone to our Executive Committee.  We need a new Chair-Elect who will back-up the Chair in 2025, become the Chair in 2026, and hopefully be with us long enough to serve as the Immediate Past Chair.  Because of term lengths, I realize it is sometimes hard to commit to 3 years.  If you can commit to at least 2 years of your term to the OGIC leadership team and are interested in this position, please let me know ASAP.  If you have questions about the positions, please contact Molly, Chris, Brad, or Tom and they can give you their perspective.



  *   I'm about to send out calendar invites to hold the 2025 meeting dates on your calendar.  I will update the appointments with meeting info once we get close to the actual meetings.
