Please join me in welcoming Nate Ramsey to EIS. Nate joined Data Governance and Transparency as the Chief Data Officer on November 18.

Nate comes to EIS after years of service in the federal government. Most recently, Nate served as director of a U.S. Census Bureau program dedicated to provisioning restricted-use federal agency data for statistical research. He also previously served as a research analyst on higher education programs at the U.S. Department of Education.

Nate left Washington, DC in 2018 to return to his home state of Oregon. He lives in Portland with his wife and two children. In his spare time Nate coaches his daughter's softball team and slowly learns to play tennis.
