<p class="MsoNormal">First let me say thanks for your quick responses to the email and motion I sent out last week. Currently, I am tabling the motion until the next regular OGIC meeting in July. Based on further conversations with the OGIC executive team,
reducing the sense of urgency around this topic, I have decided to table my motion and wait until the next regular meeting to have the conversation about ample and sustainable funding for OGIC’s vision.

<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">While I still see a need to bring on expert help to build a funding plan to meet our vision, and to be prepared for the next legislative cycle, I believe it can now wait until we receive and review proposals for the FIT grant program.
By the July meeting we will know how much has been requested and which proposals are viable and worthy of FIT funding. In the end, there may be funds to meet our purpose without impacting the FIT grant process. Looking forward to seeing you at the July meeting.
