<p class="MsoNormal">I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving holiday. Since we had quite a number of OGIC members miss the October meeting, I thought I’d provide a quick summary of important decisions along with a couple of key presentations.

<li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Final tables regarding the Framework Data Inventory were approved.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Our new Chair-Elect for 2024 is Chris Wright, representing State Agencies. <o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">OGIC approved a set of budget allocations for the OGIC fund in order to better support our priorities and manage the fund as a whole. The four allocations are:

<li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level2 lfo1">$150K for data development grant projects<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level2 lfo1">$150K for federal/other projects requiring a state match<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level2 lfo1">$150K to assist with data sharing appeals/concerns raised by data custodians<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level2 lfo1">$50K for miscellaneous expenses<o:p></o:p></li></ol>
<li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">OGIC approved a set of performance measures for the remainder of the 2023-24 Work Plan.
