<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:5.0pt"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:#2F5496">With other states passing or having passed similar legislation, I suspect that this will exacerbate the
<u><a href="https://www.edweek.org/leadership/how-bad-is-the-teacher-shortage-what-two-new-studies-say/2022/09">teacher shortage</a></u>, especially since one of the reasons often cited for leaving the profession is not feeling respected.
