Hello,

Thank you to everyone for your response to my information request regarding a potential "Creating a  Destination Business" workshop. Just to keep you updated, we are exploring various options including regional workshops or a central workshop location with webinar cabability. Will let you know as we move forward with decisions.

Great idea..but "distance" is an issue for us, the Main Street Myrtle Creek
Association, in South Douglas County. It's questionable how many from here
would attend a daylong event there...travel expenses to & from, staying
overnight etc. Any chance of making it a "webinar" ?

We are investigating the possibility of bringing Jon Schallert back to do a
daylong work shop on "Creating A Destination Business." His keynote and
presentation at the Oregon Main Street Conference were both highly rated.
Please let us know:
 
-if this workshop would be of interest and use to you
-if you would be willing to pay a small fee to attend
 
For those who missed the conference, Jon is an internationally recognized
speaker and small business expert who teaches businesses and communities how
to turn themselves into consumer destinations.
 
We are working with Clackamas County to explore this training opportunity
and would potentially host the workshop in two locations.
