1. Looking for good photos! When you take a good shot of your downtown, including before/afters, special events and festivals, meetings, streetscapes, etc., please send a copy to Oregon Main Street. We are constantly looking for photos to demonstrate what is happening in our communities both for presentations and printed materials. You will earn my eternal gratitude!
2. Here's dates for conferences, workshops, and trainings that might of interest to you in 2011:

3. USDA Rural Development in Oregon has developed a new quarterly newsletter, Oregon Rural Developments Newsletter, to provide information and updates on programs and funding opportunities they offer, including information on:
* Single and Multi-Family Housing Programs
* Business and Cooperative Programs
* Community Facility, Water and Environmental Program
The newsletter will provide valuable information for local government officials and departments, rural businesses and cooperatives, lenders, housing authorities, economic development entities, nonprofits, and many others.
