Although I'm not sure they are a Main Street community, Silverton has
had a very successful First Friday event for many years.  It is
organized by the Chamber.  You may want to check out their website

Albany did this a few years ago and it was a huge flop. I would love to
see how other communities are doing it well. Our board was just talking
about this at this mornings meeting.
