Greetings!

Baker City has been nominated as one of the most beautiful towns in the
Rand McNally – USA Today’s Best of the Road contest.  This would be a
great opportunity to showcase Baker City and much of the great work that
has already been accomplished downtown over the years
The top 5  entries in each category will be chosen by June 21 and
between June 21 and July 15 representatives form Rand McNally and USAY
today will visit each community and announce the winners on July 15th

Baker City is currently in 1st place as the most beautiful town and it
will be much easier to maintain a lead than to catch up.  It will also
help us stay on the front page of the website and generate more
attention and possibly votes.
